Sentences with Conjunctions

Creating a game to learning about conjunctions makes learning fun and that is what Turtle Diary did with this complete-the-sentence game. Children read the simple sentences while balloons float by with suggested conjunctions. Using the keyboard , the child clicks on the balloon to add the conjunction. Immediate audible feedback is provided. If the selection is incorrect the child can click another balloon until the correct response is selected. This game uses fun and creative sentences to create imagery for children to "see" what they are reading. Mastering the use of conjunctions is one of the stepping stones to advanced language arts skills.
