Earth and Its History

We live on Earth because it has air, water, and sunlight. So, there is life on planet Earth. The Earth is called the blue planet because three-fourths of Earth’s surface is covered by water which makes it look blue from space. The crust is the outermost layer and includes the Earth’s surface. The mantle is the next layer, and is made up of a thick, solid, and rocky substance. The layer after the mantle is the outer core which is made of hot magma (molten rock) called lava. The innermost layer is the inner core which is a solid ball. The inner core is made of iron and nickel.
