Natural Resources

Natural resources are things that we find in nature, such as air, plants, water, and animals. These natural resources can be made into other products. Natural resources are used to generate energy. Wind farms use windmills to generate electricity, solar panels change sunlight into electricity, and hydroelectric dams use water to produce electrical energy. We help take care of the environment, particularly our natural resources, by taking steps to use less energy and products like paper (reduce), finding new ways to use items (reuse), and by sending in certain things like soda cans and plastic bottles to be remade into new items (recycle).
