Properties of Division
Multiplication and division are inverse operations.
Given a multiplication fact, we can write its related division facts and vice-versa.
For example: Consider the division fact 36 ÷ 12 = 3.
Let's write its related multiplication facts.
That is, we need to write multiplication sentences that uses the same numbers as given in the division sentence.
For the given division fact, there are two related multiplication facts.
3 × 12 = 36
12 × 3 = 36
