What Is Matter?
Matter is anything which occupies space and has mass. So, everything we can see, feel, and touch around us is matter. Matter exists in four states - solid, liquid, gas, and plasma. Solids have a definite shape and a definite volume. Liquids do not have a definite shape but have a definite volume. Plasma is a heated gas which becomes charged with energy.
