How to Do Line Plots

When we have so much data, we need to reorganize it into a manageable number of categories. And there are several kinds of graphs we can use to show this kind of data. The first is a line plot, which shows data along a number line.

To make a line plot, just draw a number line with a range that includes all of the numbers in your data. Then, draw an X to represent each number. If the same number appears more than once, draw several X's on top of each other.
