Climate

Climate is defined as the atmospheric conditions in a region over a long period of time. From year to year the temperature, amount of precipitation, and amount and type of cloudiness may vary. However, climate is averaged over a number of years. On the other hand, weather is defined as the atmospheric conditions in a region over a short period of time. There are three climate zones in the world recognized by scientists. They are the Polar Climate Zone, the Temperate Climate Zone, and the Tropical Climate Zone.
