Water Cycle Part 2
Water cycle describes the movement of water on, in, and above the Earth. During this process, water keeps on changing its state. Due to high temperatures, water on Earth evaporates and the water vapor formed rises up into the sky. Higher up in atmosphere where the air is colder, the water vapor condenses. This means it changes from a gas to drops of water or crystals of ice. We see these water drops or ice crystals as clouds. Precipitation is water that falls to the ground in solid or liquid form. Rain and snow are forms of precipitation. Hail is also a form of precipitation.
